Metronomo / 2017 – 2020 // da qualche parte 

Metronomo è la storia di un rapporto con il tempo. Per tre anni ho fotografato lo stesso albero, un giovane esemplare solitario di fronte ad un bosco sterminato. Così facendo, sono riuscito a dare una forma allo scorrere del tempo; il suo tronco, come il metronomo, misurava il tempo che percorreva tra un incontro e l’altro. A ottobre 2020 una tempesta ha abbattuto l’albero. //

Metronomo is the story of a relationship with time. For three years I photographed the same tree, a solitary young specimen in front of an endless forest. In doing so, I was able to give a shape to the passage of time; its trunk, like the metronome, measured the time it traveled between one meeting and another. In October 2020, a storm felled the tree.
